STUDIO POLICIES
Booking, Rescheduling & Cancellation
Booking:
To reserve your date and time, full payment is required at the time of booking. All bookings are made online and confirmed via email.Cancellation:
You may cancel your booking up to 72 hours in advance for a full refund.
Cancellations made within 72 hours are not eligible for a refund.
No-shows or failure to arrive within your scheduled time will result in a forfeiture of your booking.Rescheduling:
You may reschedule your session up to 48 hours in advance of your original booking time, subject to availability.Overtime:
Any additional time spent in the studio beyond your scheduled booking will be charged in 30-minute increments, based on the current hourly rate.Your rental time begins and ends at the scheduled hours — this includes setup, breakdown, and cleanup. If your session runs past your booked time, overtime will be charged in 30-minute increments at the current hourly rate, subject to studio availability. Please ensure your session, cleanup, and exit are completed within your reserved time to avoid overtime charges.
Care + Cleanliness
No outdoor shoes in the studio
Kindly return furniture and decor to their original positions before leaving.
No glitter, confetti, fake snow, or any material that leaves residue.
No candles, flames, smoke machines, or incense.
No nails, screws, tacks, or adhesive tape on walls or furniture.
Light cleaning is expected
Failure to comply with these care and cleanliness guidelines will result in forfeiture of your security deposit.
Furniture & Decor
The Mae Studio features a curated collection of neutral furniture and props — these are for use within the studio only.
Please do not step or stand on any furniture. A step stool is available if needed.
No furniture may be removed from the space.
All equipment or props brought in must be carried carefully — no dragging on floors or bumping walls.
Content & Conduct
The studio is a safe and inclusive space for all — absolutely no discriminatory, harmful, or explicit content is permitted.
Please keep music and noise at a respectful volume — the studio is not soundproof.
Filming in bathrooms is not permitted.
Please keep children supervised at all times, and ensure all items are handled gently.
The maximum occupancy of The Mae Studio is 8 people unless otherwise discussed. For larger productions, please reach out prior to booking.
Pets & Food
No pets or animals.
Food and drinks are not allowed inside the studio to help maintain the space and furnishings.
Absolutely no alcohol or recreational drugs are permitted on the premises.
Failure to comply with these guidelines will result in forfeiture of your security deposit.
Security & Supervision
A security camera is located at the studio for safety and monitoring purposes. No surveillance is present in private areas such as restrooms or changing areas. As a security measure, video footage may be reviewed to confirm any damage, theft, extended time in the studio, or violations of studio policies.
Please ensure you take all belongings with you before leaving, lock the door, and return the key to the lockbox.
If staff needs to access the space during your rental (for safety or studio care), you will be notified in advance or greeted respectfully.
Liability Waiver Clause
The Mae Studio and its owner are not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to persons or property while using the studio space. All renters and guests assume full responsibility for their personal safety and belongings.
Damage & Deposit
A refundable $300 security deposit is required for studio rentals and will be returned after inspection, provided the space is left in good condition.
Any damage to furniture, walls, floors, or equipment will result in a repair fee or partial/full loss of deposit.
Please notify us of any issues or damages during your session.
By booking The Mae Studio, you agree to all of the above studio policies and terms. It is your responsibility to review these guidelines prior to your session. Failure to comply may result in additional charges, forfeiture of your security deposit, or refusal of future bookings.
